Sometimes I’ll spend a short amount of time making quick drawings in my sketchbook. 

Sometimes I’ll spend a long amount of time painting words, phrases and lines. Over and over.

Sometimes I paint everything red, blue or white.

Sometimes I work between multiple canvases moving them around the walls or pegging them up to dry to make more room for another one on the wall.

Sometimes I can’t paint fast enough and drip paint all down the walls in my haste to add more paint to my brush as fast as possible. 

Sometimes I don’t make anything at all, and go to the studio to sit, contemplate, research and develop understanding or to chat to other artists.

Always, the studio is my creative space and I’m grateful for it.
